Welsh producers take centre stage at the Royal Welsh Show
Sixteen up-and-coming Welsh food and drink businesses are showcasing their wares on the Welsh Government's Cywain stand at this year's Royal Welsh Show (20–23 July), one of the biggest showcases in the Welsh food calendar. Swansea liqueur maker Nonna Assunta has graduated to its own stand after cutting its teeth on Cywain support in 2024, while Pembrokeshire's Velfry Vineyard credits the programme with giving it the confidence to trade independently.

Harrogate's Great Yorkshire Show (14–17 July) once again turned its Food Hall over to regional producers who sell only at shows and farmers' markets, from cheesemakers and artisan bakers to charcuterie makers.
